Power Shift 2009 would not have been possible without the generous contributions of our supporters, friends, family and YOU!
This conference was a historic gathering that empowered and engaged over 12,000 young leaders in making a difference on their campuses, in their communities, throughout their states, and nationwide. It was the kind of event that comes along once in a generation.
Now we are getting ready to bring the movement home. We will build the movement in our dorms, in our homes, in our classrooms and in our communities. Our generation is ready. Now it's time to tell our elected officials that we need national action on climate and energy
Here are some ways you can help us make history:
Fund the Movement
We are fighting a battle for our future. We need your financial support to make sure we win.
Your money makes our work possible. Give today if you want even more 100% clean energy policies on campuses; elected officials that care about the climate and listen to young people; green job creation; and more action against polluting industries.

Energy Action would like to specifically thank Clean Currents and Sterling Planet for donating wind energy credits for this year's conference! Clean Currents is donating enough wind power to offset the emissions from the energy used at the conference and Sterling Planet will offset emissions from any conference participant who registers their travel at Power shift. These are just two ways we are lowering our environmental impact as we push for big changes in 2009.
A special thank you to Idealist.org, Wellstone Action, Grassroots Solutions and IMP for providing invaluable support in the planning and programming of Power Shift 2009. Perhaps the biggest thank you goes to the hundreds of individual contributors who are far too many to list here, but are responsible for bringing the thousands of young people together this weekend.
