Blog Post

Welcome to our new website!

Today is an exciting day - we have a new website!

This site has been a long time in the making. Thanks to everyone who provided thoughts and ideas for what we've created. The site has been intentionally designed so that we can expand on it, adding new features and content, so please continue to contribute as we move forward!

Please take some time to check out the site, and send along any feedback.  A couple of things to be sure not to miss:

  • The Partners page: Energy Action Coalition is made up of a diverse and dynamic group of partners.  To better demonstrate this, the Partners page has info on each partner, and their blog feed.  We'll be featuring their great content and work right here on the blog.
  • Better sharing features: see something you like? Click on the Facebook, Twitter or buzz button to get the word out.
  • Our campaigns: there is lots of great work going on right now!  Check out the new pages for the Great Power Race, and please join the Crude Awakening.

In the coming weeks we'll be adding new content to the Issues Page and Action Center.  As always, our goal is to empower young people around the country to support one another in taking action for a clean energy economy, so please let us know what will make this work for you!

I don't see dates on these

I don't see dates on these blog posts.. that's important info if we're going to keep all this info straight!

The US can once again become

The US can once again become a leader in clean energy technology, by rethinking how the federal government can foster innovation and competitiveness in clean energy... from education and research to commercialization and production!

I would really recommend

I would really recommend having someone proofread your content before posting. It does not help the persuasiveness of your message when you have text like the following:

"Find your Senators number here..."
"See whose signed up..."

You should also provide an explanation of what you are calling the 'Dirty Air Act' -- your website gives the mistaken impression that may have something to do with offshore drilling.

Thanks.
